Explore the beauty of the Suck River valley Region of Co.Roscommon in this two day Walking festival.
From the committed walking enthusiast looking for a challenging walking experience, to the novice walker looking for a gentle but invigorating walk,our graded walks complete with guides and commentary offer something for everyone.
Sat 13th:Walk 1:Ballintubber to Athleague 29km. Walk 2:Donamon to Athleague 13km. Walkers will be bussed to the starting points after registration.Refreshments available in the Angling Centre.
Sunday 14th :Walk :Mount Talbot to Athleague 8km.Fun Day for all the family,treasure/creepy crawley hunt for the kids,face painting,bouncy Castle.
Nature talk/slide show by special Guest Dermot Sommers, acclaimed writer and broadcaster.
Registration is FREE. maps and brochures will be provided.Registration at the Suck valley Angling Centre at 9.30 on Sat 13th and Sunday 14th of September.
